The Hero's Journey is a venture from the ordinary world, through Separation (leaving the known), Initiation (learning in the unknown) and Return (transformation). Many of us are walking this very path right now.  It takes tremendous courage and we can face many challenges along the road.  I am a gentle and kind guide, who provides support and accountability.

We work in the body which holds the truth of the past, in the imaginal realm where anything is possible, in the mind and in the heart!  You'll feel heard, seen and held.  

I will advocate for the parts of you that need a voice and long to be acknowledged.  You'll feel understood, supported and encouraged...and ready to continue your journey with a greater sense of wholeness, safety and trust.

 I provide counseling and coaching for adults. For more than fourteen years I have accumulated a treasure trove of knowledge, tools, insight and most importantly, EXPERIENCE to assist you on your journey.

What sets me apart from other therapists is twofold:  I work experientially; not in the realm of theory.  All of my methods are tried and true by ME.  I will not ask you to do anything I have not put to the test in my own spiritual and wellness practices.

Secondly, I use intuitive insight to help your healing journey proceed as quickly and effectively as possible.

I began my Hero's Journey in 2002, with the discovery of a life-changing book called Conversations with God.  Since that day, I have walked a path that has taken me into the realms of codependency, trauma, toxic shame, adult children of alcoholic and dysfunctional families, addiction, mental illness, family of origin relationships, and the dark night of the soul!

Two years ago, all of the buried detritus from my past was unleashed like Pandora's box, and I had to fight my way back from physical, mental and emotional collapse.  That dark night and Hero's journey brought me to a slew of life experiences and people, skills and tools that I could never have imagined - broadening both my empathy and capacity for healing and transformation. It has made me a better therapist, friend, and individual.
